Program Coordinator for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support


Canadian Mental Health Association—South Okanagan Similkameen branch seeks a
Program Coordinator in Princeton for 8 hours per week for an 18-month term.
The Program Coordinator will oversee the project, ensure mental health programs are
completed on time and on budget. The role will include working with various stakeholders to
ensure project goals are met.


This project directly supports Princeton’s recovery from the 2021 BC floods by addressing the
mental health and well-being needs that have arisen because of the disaster.

SUPPORT WORKER 1 – Unity Clubhouse

Canadian Mental Health Association—South Okanagan Similkameen branch seeks a
Support Worker 1 on a casual basis
 
CMHA-SOS provides services to support the resilience and recovery of those living with a
mental illness. The branch also provides health promotion and services to promote mental
health.
 
If you meet or exceed the following requirements, please consider submitting your cover letter
and resume.

– Certificate in Community Social Services or an equivalent combination of education,
training and experience or other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant
to the level of work.
– Class 5 BC Driver’s license
– Certificates in CPR, First Aid and Food Safe
– Implements incident/alert protocols.
– Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
– Ability to establish rapport with clients.
– Conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills.
– Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and orally


Pay rate as per HEU Community Collective Agreement for Grid 21: $27.92 per hour plus 10% in
lieu of benefits
Days of work: varies and can range from 0 hours per week to 37.5 hours per week.
Location: Unity Clubhouse – Penticton
Position to start as soon as possible.
